Shawn has been a musician for most of his life, with his instrumental experience including acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, fiddle, piano, electric keyboards, bass guitar, celo, drums, electronic music and 'dj'ing, Native american flute, and middle eastern drums. He also carries past experience with Celtic music, having played with Box and Whistle (of Las Cruces, NM) for 2 years. Shawn is co-owner, executive producer, and primary recording technician for Gryphon's Egg Productions , the label under which Gallowglass is distributed. He conducts various music projects, one of which is gothic/industrial in style. Two of these recordings were recently chosen for a film soundtrack. Shawn is also an SCA fencer, and has many years of experience as a special effects makeup artist in Hollywood, Ca , and was a magician in Las Vegas, Nevada as well. |
